Emoji Charades
Eshan and I both attended USC and worked on games together. After graduating we worked at a few different companies working on games until we decided to create our own company called GameCake. We created GameCake because we saw a huge opportunity in the Connected TV market and decided we wanted to design games natively for the platform. We also both love social games and having game nights and made it a focus of the company to make social games We love the idea of people playing games together in the same room again. Emoji Charades was designed to be playable by anyone, with easy input (tap emojis), easy guessing (just use your knowledge of the world!), and easy setup (zero or one tap). Emoji Charades can also be played both on the TV and on your portable devices. Use an Apple TV or Chromecast for an easily shareable experience, or connect two phones/iPads together for something more portable.
We want to address the lack of truly social games today. The gaming industry has largely done away with the social gaming experience.
